People were so accommodating, a beautiful place to stay in a great location. The staff up front were great with recommendations and help with my rides and transfers. The breakfast was incredible, as someone that is gluten free they brought me handmade gluten free pancakes and freshly baked bread everyday. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure I had options to eat and were exceptional. I couldn’t recommend a better place and friendlier or more accommodating staff!

There were a lot of breakfast options. The restaurant had tasty (not too spicy food). The staff were very friendly. The bedrooms had many light settings and two pillow sizes. The beds were king or super king, so quite large. The staff were very friendly and attentive.

As usual the Shanker offers that sophisticated home away from home feel that is both authentic and not pretentious. Always enjoy the poolside lunch and afternoon soother! The garden was the daily scenery for beautiful traditional weddings and other ceremonies that made the stay that more immersive. Breakfast really pleasant, room dinner menu very decent, prices in line with service. Personnel really attentive and helpful.

The staff were super helpful and helped arrange for tour guide who was knowledgeable and patient throughout their tour. The friendly staff, clean rooms and the beautiful gardens made their stay in Kathmandu so special. The breakfast was excellent as well.
